Well here we go, hope I don't get too destroyed haha.

My last season in Division 2 makes me hopeful, started off way down in 27th and ended the season in 3rd. All about that show difficulty/achievement balance. Hopefully I see a late season surge like last time.

The good thing about starting with lower scores is that you can rely on large score gains all season, provided you don't miss many hours. If you hit on the right difficulty/achievement balance and don't miss hours, you can definitely still make some noise!

My division 2 groups started WAY back last season then won, so we can do it again even against former division 1 groups!

Considering how late I'll be staying up the coming weeks with Finals, Juries, and Concerts missing rehearsal hours shouldn't be a problem haha. We'll see. I'm aiming for semifinals at least now. I think that's realistic.

You shouldn't have any problems. There are many groups that start in the low 60s and make semis no problem.

I'm just kinda laughing that they decided to give me a Division 2 medal this season. I feel like it would be almost impossible for me not to get one.

I have picked the current top 7 corps regardless of division first. I then removed Leviathan so that I only have one corps in the mix. in their place i decided to go with Ivory Brigade who is having a great season in Division II to mix things up a bit. Here is the final list. If you do NOT want to participate (and are listed), please let me know ASAP. I will wait until tonight to officially send and assign random numbers to each. It doesnt appear that it requires anything of you individualy (other than to keep working to win!) beyond divuldging your diffiuclty ratings.

Ok it seems I was wrong, I don't pick seven corps, it's completely decided by random numbers to be assigned to ALL of our ensembles and luck of the draw determines who represents CLASS. I'll be completely transparent, I'm not really in favor of this option and rather than tell which league truly is in the lead across all divisions it seems a lot more random. Further we are currently the only corps participants, so. .... If the majority wishes to move forward I will, if not it was an interesting thought for future potential.

I vote nay. I don't like the random draw idea. You could end up with the bottom 7 of one league vs the top 7 of another.

That was exactly my concern. If each President picked the seven and then from there maybe a little randomness I get it, but this seems overly random and wouldn't prove much other than I guessed a good number from the right corps.
