My color guard actually doesn't need income except the money it costs to host a show. I bought every thing.

I use just my shows to fundraise unless I know that I'm really not going to be able to check in every six hours. The first season of division 1 you can also kind of mostly kiss goodbye anyway so might as well be on max fundraise then too. I've said over and over a full high quality staff only helps you so much. Still need all your practice time in. Several corps have also discovered that you start off all GE, then you switch to performance categories at end and your scores shoot up fast.

I think I realized that a little bit too late because I started with the other stuff and only a week ago started pouring it into GE

Yeah, it just takes time to build up your staff and find the right rehearsal strategy that works for you. I'm still experimenting with rehearsal strategies haha

GE and Ens is my strategy. Then captions.

I balance mine all season. Pretty much the same till the last week. (this is when I am actually competing) the last week I tend to move toward my lowest captions.

Nervous.

Genuinely amazed that my Legends have such a good shot at a Medal this season... i thought for sure they would be mid pack.

Congrats! I thought that one would stand.

Starting to remember why I took that long break, haha... sacrificing sleep to make sure I get all my rehearsals for finals week... Can't argue with the results though. Basically erased all those early 10-point gaps (except Swiss, of course >.<) and poised to break 90.

Not bad for my first full season back :P Hopefully gonna be playing with the big boys and girls next season in Div 1!

Yeah, those nights were you want to go to bed at 12:45 am, and you're like, "mmm, I'm going to stay up till 1 for that extra hour of rehearsal" haha

Congrats to Tullahoma who swept across the division 1 championship! Is a rare occasion indeed that that happens!

Div 1 and Div 2 medal sweeps, and a silver in Div 3! Not a bad season at all for CLASS :)
Also, for future reference; staying up late to grab rehearsals is a bad thing, I missed 4 today after not missing a beat all week D:

Get out the broom. It's time for a sweeeeep. I think in the past, I've twice gotten 3/4 of them.

So pumped for this season, I'm hoping to medal in division 3 this time! (assuming I stay in it, which I probably will)

You never know, sometimes a lot of people in DIII get bumped up, sometimes hardly anybody does.

I've been around the 8-5 region for all of my seasons so far and I haven't moved so I'm hoping I stay here. I'd like the chance to get a higher a place before I jump straight into 22nd from being a division higher.
