how does everyone feel the changes in GE will impact the activity?

Please explain these changes lol

Well from my understanding in theory it's a simple wording change but in my opinion could have huge impact. GE judges can now make comments and give credit for things unrelated necessarily to what GE has traditionally meant. In other words audience members sit and make judgements off a feeling or emotion. A passionate show that makes them jump up out of their seat may have in past not been give any score credit for that so there is a discrepancy between emotions and scores. Now the GE judges can comment on whatever that moment is and give credit for it. The impact could be small if judges decide not to follow it much or could be huge maybe changing who would win or lose. In my opinion it makes it a little harder to just be a score chaser and now you have to entertain as well. Which should always have been an ideal, but hasn't been necessarily. At least this is my interpretation and view.

I LOVE IT. This is awesome. If judges had implemented that in DCA these last few seasons Statesmen would have gotten a lot higher of a score.

U.K.D.C will be working on influence for the weekend instead of competitions. So far the season is going worse than expected for them :(

The Statesmen would have to actually march a competitive show to benefit from this new rule ... Oooooooops !!!
