What a fierce competition to start the prelims! Starting at division I there were 79 contestants, and 40 semi- qualifiers. These 40 broke 75 points! Now we shall start with the independent groups highlights.
Winning this round, The new CLASS member, Bluecoats scoring an outstanding 98.150! They've also recieved first in the catagories Music Ensemble and Visual Ensemble. As of now, this is their best season. Their trophy case contains a world champion medal from division 3 and division 2. If they continue their domination, will they add to their collection of another medal? Keep this up, and they will! This was by far, the crowd's favorite tonight!

Runner-up in the prelims, also from CLASS, Nemesis. Scored 98.105! They also got first in Music Percussion, and colorguard. They have 28 division 1 season champions! Will this be another season added to their collection? It's their goal!

3rd, From CLASS as well, Carolina Royals scoring 97.710. Thank goodness to both of their unbelivable Music and visual General! No surprise they won those categories at all. This group may just add a new 5th division 1 world champions, or they may just let the other 2 groups ahead of them get the champion medal and set back and get a bronze world medal, that they don't have in any divisions.
