And reading the replies some people are leaving to his apology makes me extremely sad, people saying "You don't need to say sorry to theses losers" they are just retarded so it doesn't matter.

That apology was the fakest, saddest thing ever. Jim was getting his behind kicked in by band members, and now Jim Rome fans are making fun of band members still, and it's a twitter fight right now. I'm tweeting about it too.

The thing about his apology though is that he said he doesn't condone bullying. Which is great, but he was the bully. He also said that wasn't his intent, so I'm curious what was his intent.

I actually hadnt paid attention to the Rome thing till today---what an idiot is right...and his half hearted apology likely came from CBS attorneys and PR people...some people will never get it--i know that i had a house full of family, many of whom were jocks, who actually sat down and watched finals with me--they were blown away. people need to open their mind but sadly is that just about the marching arts??? nope...what I do love is that the "geeks" and "band fags" fought back---THAT many jocks wouldnt predict...i love both worlds---but no one can convince me that somehow running back and forth with a football or basketball or hitting a little ball into a cup isnt all a little on the WTF side too...how does one make any more sense then the other--its just about entertainment and thank goodness there are many different tastes out there! everyone is someone elses geek/nerd/loser--just a fact
