What a run for the Cats. When I was a freshmen, Billie Gillispie was the head coach of Kentucky basketball. If you had told me then that I would graduate with a Final Four, a National Runner-Up, and a National Championship, I would have given an emphatic "hell yes".

And yes UK lost....I'm sure lots of people from many fan bases were laughing when UK lost...not sure what that has to do with your Louisville comment though. Not gonna go into lucky vs. unlucky bounces because I don't think luck can make one team 6-1 against another team since 2009.

I've long since given up on ever enjoying football. Between decades of rooting for the Redskins and decades of rooting for the Redskins, I'll take what I'm given and nothing more. Pretty much all I have is UK basketball to be honest. Nationals baseball if you want to count that. And past that, it's "how much can I do with whatever music program I am lucky enough to be the director of". Sports in the life of corndog. It's a blast. I'm just glad one team is actually important on some level.

I'm a Cubs fan so there's that. Add that to the Titans (no championships), Bruins (last basketball in 95, last football in 54), all I've really celebrated is our 2013 CWS title.

My only saving grace is the Cards.

My teams are the Indiana Hoosiers, Colts, and St. Louis Cardinals. Always have been. They are all pretty decent, but the best right now is by far the Cards.
