Div I-
This competition is one of those, no surprise, winners. Awarded Gold in the CV Open is Nemesis of CLASS scoring 79.480, of course. Close to breaking 80. Nemesis now holds this score as the new high score in all divisions for this season! Next in line, awarded silver, also from CLASS, The Tullahoma Azure Force scoring 78.805. Finally in a different league, awarded bronze, Redcoat Regiment from MAoMA, the rival league of CLASS. Closely to bronze only missing it by .1 points, Blue Deviled Eggs. After The Blue Deviled Eggs had 5 members from CLASS. In order, they were the Carolina Royals (77.665), Leviathan (76.700), Chipley Vanguard (76.235; event host), New Star of Indiana (73.320), and the Holy Regiment (68.930). Then finishing off the top 10 we have the Hornets scoring 68.900. The rest that broke 60 flat were Ragin Cajuns (68.715), Kingsmen (68.595), Ivory Brigade (67.960), Silver Guards (65.595), and Berlin Fieldsmen Drum and Bugle Corps (64.235). We cant forget the rest, Cullowhee Knights, Blue Devils of Carolina, Avery Regiment, and Redcoat Regiment B. These 4 groups scored in the high and low 50's.
The Div I League award would have to go to CLASS hands down! Excellent performance from there groups. They hold 7 spots of the top 10 and took a Gold and Silver medal!
Div II-
Gold award and only division II groups breaking 60 flat, Yellow Jacket Regiment from CAMA (62.245). What a blow out for 1st place! Leading by 8.59 points. Behind the curtain of that 8.59 points, silver award goes to Ruim Angels for representing CLASS. If your to lazy to do the math, they scored 53.655. Not even a point behind, bronze award goes to The Black Knights from NWDC (53.450). Just missing the awards, in order, were Blue Wishes Drum Corps (53.175), Dark Angel Regiment (52.235), and Fat corps (49.165)
There was only 1 representative from CAMA, CLASS, NWDC, MDC, GEDC. Fat corps didn't have a league. Therefore the league award for division II would have to go to the highest scorer, CAMA.
Div III-
All 5 division III groups broke 50 flat. Ahead of these 5 groups with 56.120 points, the gold award goes to MAoMA's Nakoda Devils. The Nakoda Devils had a lead of 2.59. With the silver award, 53.530, is the Arsenal Drum and Bugle Corps from GEDC. Then the Bronze with 52.780 points, Rising Stars from GEDC as well. As a matter fact the other 2 groups were from GEDC too. Dragon Raiders and Stormers.
I would like to give the League award to MAoMA but there was only one group from the league attend. Therefore, GEDC had the other 4 places so think about it GEDC got a silver and bronze medal then MAoMA had a Gold award. GEDC isn't the better league but they got lucky this time. The league award for Div. III is awarded to GEDC.
