Sorry for not getting the digest out for Week 1, but our insider source with the band was in complete lockdown for the first week.




We were finally able to get our anonymous insider for a special week 2 interview from the Marching Marchers marching band.

We wanted to know what the latest news was in the band and how they currently feel about the season so far, and the season to come.

"Everything has been going great, very smoothly and everyone is happy. The band morale is higher than ever and the results are apparent.

The latest win against the J. Summerville HS band was a definite highlight for the day and ending the "streak" was a great feeling.... taking revenge for our first show loss was also gratifying, however the season is not over yet and our main objective is not the domination of JSHS, but on Finals Night.. and 2 overall spots higher than our current 3rd.

We are happy with the bands performance so far and have sidelined a few members throughout the season who were not pulling their weight.. With that said, we are still not happy with where we should be given the bands talent level and staff. We are in the process of bringing in additional staff members to help bring out the kids full potential. We also began working on new drill and music rewrites after our last show to help improve the overall experience of the show.

Our next performance is in 4 days from now (on the 16th) at the Midwest Regional... We will be at the top of our game and excited to present the new show to the world. Our kids and staff are excited about what is to come, and The Marching Marchers is out to march all over you!"

Will their hard work and new staff changes pay off? We will have to wait just a few more days to find out!
