After two straight runner up finishes, the Lexington Legends hope to up our game that much more. Our Season 29 program is entitled "The Celestial Railroad", and is based off of the Nathaniel Hawthorne short story of the same name. Our music:
Symphony No. (Mvt. 2) - Charles Ives
Orient Express - Philip Sparke
Ghost Train (Mvt. 2) - Eric Whitacre
Danse Funambulesque - Jules Strens
In short, our program will depict the journey of a dead man on his way to Paradise. Rather than taking the scenic route, he decides to board a train. On his way he sees many beautiful sights. However, the closer he gets, the more he realizes one enormous flaw in his decision: the train does not go to Paradise. Instead, he has taken a journey down to Hell. Join the Lexington Legends this season in their continuing pursuit for Gold with The Celestial Railroad!
