#5 Is there a point BEFORE finals where you are locked into a division without being bumped into a higher Division ?

Example: My band is fighting in the top 6 of the band division 2. If I play TOO well in those last days before finals I might be bumped up into the bottom of Division 1 and screw myself out of a medal.

#6 Is there a break period between seasons and how long is that break ?
( I'd hate to be neurotic at band camp trying to adjust break times so that I can get to the computer every four hours to play )

No there is no way to move divisions.
