I am amazed at how close Division 1 drum corps is right now with one good or bad day you can potentially move 6 places. Division 2 looks like the top 5 will remain the same and, D3 changes based on when people get shows in. This has definitely been a very interesting first week.

No kidding. It also seems there is not very much consistency with ensembles. It seems one band or corps could be first in one caption and 30th in another.

Guilty as charged. :P

But seriously, this has been a very interesting week. I take a look at D1's top three corps every night and am always astounded at how much they move around.

I'm hating div 2 drum corps right now. I thought I was sitting good for finals, but after last night I noticed that I'm actually not doing as well as I thought. So much for the idea I would be sitting in the top 6 by the end of the season. My. 8 increase a week isn't really helping so much as I thought.

Also iAm64 look at the div 3 group Batman's gang in div 3 they are ranked 1 in vis per and vis ens, but last in everything else.

Sounds similar to me. I'm first in Winds, 2nd in Percussion and Guard. But like 20th in both the GE scores.

But there is good news. Tonight my marching band finished 13th in D3. So I might be in finals by the end if I keep rising. And my other groups are all in the top twenty as well. I might be able to get them in if I can raise those blasted GE scores...

Jhawk I think in order to remain relevant in D2 you have to gain about 8 points a week. I am doing about the same thing and I have only moved up a few places.

Oh don't be so sure the top 5 in won't be changing ;) i used to be 6 points behind 1st and am now only about 2.4 >:) i'm hunting you all down! not to mention my guard jumped from 6th to 3rd tonight! My drumline is 3rd as well!

It's nice to have a comfortable lead in D3 right now. I believe I'm just over two points ahead of second place. Hopefully, I can keep that lead all the way until the end of the season. I do have to say that spending a second season in D3 is really actually great.

I don't know my Nemean Sound could still take your group. I think its only a matter of time. I'd already be ahead of you if I wasn't fundraising all of the first week.

Meanwhile it's just a fight for finals with me. My Marching Band has been flopping between 13th and 14th the past week. Maybe, if I get lucky, the 12th place band will fundraise or take some time off.

Otherwise, I might have to just settle with semis.

never waste an hour of rehearsal energy. if you are not sure if you will be around for the time when you get 600 energy, just rehearse w/out the max right then rather than risk losing several hours of energy. thats how i play and it works for me ;)

Wow you are really moving up fast, it is also amazing how close D2 is there is only 3 points separating 23 place from 12. I have a feeling this season will come down to the last day.

I'm aiming for 7th this season. There is just too big of a gap between 7th and 6th. In div 2.
