Yeah I was a little slow lol. Wasn't able to be very active much.

Yeah this is only my 8th season in FMA and look where I am now. Some of my tactics may be questionable but with my CG and DL I've only rehearsed and bought staff with fundraising money and they both found their way into Div 1 finals as well.

Yeah only recently was I able to become really active. Like the past 5 seasons or so is when I started to become actually online more than 2 times a day. It technically only took me like maybe 8 seasons of true activity if you count all my other not active seasons as less.

This is my 9th seasons, and my second in D1 for corps. I've also gotten there by Fundrasing for staff and rehearsing. I have noticed though, that for D1, staff is crucial. Most of the heavyweights in D1 have been a round for a looooooooong time, and as such, have a boatload of staff. I'm spending most of this seasons just campaigning to get more staff, and only doing one show a week. I don't expect to do well this seasons, but hopefully it will pay off it subsequent seasons.

I am really interested on where I will be placed this season the past two seasons I have started in like 23rd and risen up to one of the top spots after about 3-4 weeks of competition but I know that if I somehow get placed in D1 this season it would be a struggle to make semi finals. We will see I am trying to get to the top as quick as possible and it seems it generally takes around 8 season to be among the best of the best.

kmarti you can actually really make it in around 5! Fundraise on max for 3 straight seasons once you hit level 30 and get the skill that doubles your campaign effectiveness. That should put you pretty close to the top. I'm just too stubborn to actually do that lol. If I did that now I'd be medaling every time and wouldn't have to be very active. Almost all my staff is level 20. My guard even is almost all 21 lol. I made about 35k from my guard show last season. My corps and drumline both made about 44000-45000. Pretty helpful lol I have a crapload more staff now this season than last season.

See my problem is I want to compete as I build up to compete in D1 and surprisingly it has worked well so far. besides I am already is my fourth season which means if I start fundraising now it still will be around my 7th season when I am ready to compete.

True. It just seems the easiest way is to just fundraise at max I guess. But yeah i am the same way. I almost did a season of fundraising a couple of seasons ago but I was just too onto the competition so I just decided to stay and go for some more d2 medals because I knew I could. It is the idea that each season I will do better that keeps me in the game. My inactive seasons were mainly because my parents restricted my time so much I never was able to do well. I got one active season in d3 lol and I medaled with all my groups so yeah....

I'm hoping to repeat what I did in Division III this season and take the Division II gold medal, but I don't know that that's a realistic goal this early in my second season at Division II. I may just have to wait a third season, but I do want to medal this season.
