Steep decline today, going back to my original thoughts. Currently ranked 29th in Drum Corps, 19th in Marching Band, and 18th in Guard and Percussion. Seems my weak point wasn't Guard, was it? However I don't think most guards and percussion ensembles have taken the floor yet, so I don't know if it's too soon to make a call on that. I'll probably spend the next couple of days upping my Winds, Perc. and Guard captions.

Ouch 29th? You should rise just fine though as long as you are diligent in your rehearsals. You have people like me that don't go that extra step and skip sleep. I like my sleep so I tend to fundraise at night.

29th stung pretty bad. But I also started around 25th last season in almost everything, and finished in 6th. So I might have a chance at making top 15. Hopefully.

If you rehearse a bunch there is a very strong chance you can still push through and make finials I started in the mid twenties last season and I was in fourth by the end of the season. That being said I always tend to improve throughout the year and have later runs.

I'm still ranked 17 in Drum Corps. I'm not super ecstatic for the start of the season, but I'm optimistic. Worst case is I choose to campaign next season to make up for the staff that other corps have.

Well your final score last season was still in finals position in div 2. So with a few staff improvements you should be fine. I know I try to improve every staff position by at least one level a season. Most of that comes from my show revenue the prior season though.

How did the first week go for everyone do we have any predictions on winners yet?

It's not going horrible for me, but I wish my score were higher. I'm in the 60s right now, we'll see how I finish out the season. I'm getting a big forgetful and I don't know why and I need to get back on the train so I don't keep wasting rehearsal time...

I am officially announcing that my future shows will hold a maximum of 20 invites. There just doesn't seem to be enough to really go around anymore.

From what I have seen form looking at the older season statistics it does appear to be this way. recently we have been staying around 500 active users, is this a normal number? And try to keep it up Spartan but I am picking up speed and I am coming up quick behind you. Division 2 looks like it will come down to the wire again.

Oh and btw I meant that I am not gonna do as we'll as I should be doing. Some problems with Internet and parents resulted in 3 days of a total of rehearsing 4 times x( I'm not gonna make the top 8. I should be about a point and a half above where I am now. :/

Sorry to hear that Strad cant get a break can you? I am amazed by all the stories coming out of Boston of the heroism by ordinary people.

On a side note, UCLA's football coach became the first FBS coach to openly state that he has no problem with gays on his team and welcomes them if they can play. Someone commented on it saying that the guys SHOWER together and that gays would be a distraction on the field.

Clearly this is a man who has not seen a drum corps.
