So, we have much to discuss, as a lot has gone on in the past few weeks:

- thank you to Blue Demons and Tiger Pride Regiment for hosting FMADC West Combine-sponsored events this season. They both looked to be very successful, and we hope that you continue to help support this combine =)

- congrats and good skill to Knights Vanguard as they head into Finals week in first place and with an undefeated season.

- if you have a marching band, be sure to join the FMAMB West Combine Circuit (mirroring our own) in the Marching Band discussion section.

- good skill to all FMADC West participants competing in tomorrow's finals.

And with that being said, we need to discuss next season.

As you all know, we did have a few competitions this year (3 sponsored by our own combine). But, we need 2 or 3 volunteers to host tournaments next year. I don't know if Blue Demons or Tiger Pride want to do it again, but we should aim to have at least one FMADC West-sponsored event a week. The collective account that hosts our championships can sponsor finals during the last week, and I can make another account that can host some sort of regional. But it'd be great if we could have a few people host on their own and add everyone from our combine.

What do you guys think? Yes or no? If yes, we need to set up dates for the competitions.

It's called Corps in the Hills, on October 2. I apologize, I forgot to mark it as a WCC event, but it is. (Though there are way more spots than there are WCC members, so it shouldn't be an issue.)

GL will host, not sure when though, I'm kind of taking a break from FMA, studying for the LSAT.

@mrtuba2000: That sounds great. Just let us know whenever you pick a date (or whenever you get back to FMA, haha). And good luck on the LSAT (I'll be doing MCAT... eventually, haha.)

First off, thank you to flute88, BlueDevils, Tigerguard and JacobCaffrey for hosting our weekly events. Be sure to apply if you haven't yet!

I just wanted to see what you guys thought.

So last season, we hosted our Championships in Concord per tradition, as BlueDevils was the founding member. I wanted to know if anyone had any ideas for this season as to where we can have it? I know it doesn't really matter, but I'd like to provide some recognition to our members by moving it around every new season.

Some possible ideas:

- Concord gets to be the hosting site every season (and I'm sure BlueDevils wouldn't mind that =P)
- The winner of last year's championship gets to be the hosting site (which opens itself up to a problem: what if a group wins every year?)
- We set up a list of members (numbered from 1 to whatever in the order of date joined) and whoever is next on the list gets to host.
- We use that same list from suggestion 3 and plug it into a random number generator. Whoever's number comes out gets to host.

What do you all think? Is there a method that you'd prefer to see used? I'd like to take a vote on it so I know what to put every time we start a new season.

I like the third method the best because then everyone will get a chance to hold it. btw i got denied at a west combine competition:/
