so i hosted an event. 5/5 people played, with a total of 3768 influence. but 0/400 attendants, at $10 a ticket. why is that

When did you create the event? If you created the even the same day it was held (or accepted all participants the same day it was held), there was no time for the audience to be aware of the show/buy tickets.
