what do you get out of winning an event?

I believe it helps you gain influence, director points and other stats that will help. However you do not NEED to win shows to be able to come out on top come Finals time

You get the satisfaction of having won an event!

I've won 2 events now.. however... lol it was because i was the only one in my division haha. although i am 2nd on the high scores list to Louisville Legion who has scored an 80 on their first outing.
