The top 50%, but no less than 12 groups move to semi-finals

I just noticed in Divison 1 colorguard that only 11 groups made it to semi-finals. This was due to the fact that there's only 22 groups in Division 1 guard this season. Would it be possible to add somewhere that the top 50% make semi finals, but at least 12 groups make it? That 12th place group must feel cheated.
This happened in division 1 drumline as well.

I also agree. At least 12 advance to both Semifinals and Finals.

I think there should be an FMA rule that on the rare instances Cire and I agree on something, it automatically goes into effect. :-)

Will the Hanover Scouts Drumline be participating in finals? I see that today my results from prelims have changed to say that we made semis from yesterday, but I don't see us added to the semis show page.
