I still dont think that Cavies fits that well since they didnt win so far into the history of DCI...the Blue Devils dominated, then took it easy for then dominate then back and forth---we have just been in the quiet years, but now...watch our dominance return!

I dont know about that one strad you have only been a part of D1 for a few seasons so there isnt really a good comparison for you at the moment. I think one to the closest matches we have is the Cornhuskers being almost exactaly like the Bluecoats, they always get 6th

But to be fair, BD never drops as low as Nemesis has. It's like Top 3 for like all but 4 or 5 years isn't it?

Yeah BD has missed finals once, their very first year out and has not been in the top 3 only 9 times. BD has also only been below fourth place 3 times (the last in 1991). Since BD's first year in 1973 to 2012, their average placement is 3rd.

The Cadets who have won the second most in DCI (10, compared to BD's 15) has an average placement of 5.2 in the same time span.

BD has been the most prominent corps in DCI history with their first championship only 4 years in DCI, where it took Cadets 12.

SCV averages 4.02 in the same time frame.

Cavaliers averages 5.6

Phantom averages 5.2 in the same timeframe (who woulda thunk)

I don't always love their shows but no doubt on the flip side put some of the best shows ever seen in The activity even when they don't win And I could say that about cadets or devils!

Like I said. The Blue Deviled Eggs ARE Phantom. Technically average as much or higher than other corps who have won more championships, but just haven't won too many championships.
