Thanks theamazing1 (and to everyone who was kind enough to vote for me) ^_^ I still believe that I would deserve it more if I maybe acquired more medals in these next few seasons but hey it is what it is lol. Glad I could be a part of such an awesome community.

ya....not sure FastForward nomination fits with the spirit of the award given the majority of the directors and leagues ultimately opted NOT to recognize his titles....

We debated FastFoward's nomination thoroughly but ultimately we decided that he was, in fact, nomination worthy and that if the community did not want him in the Hall then they would not vote him in.

But wouldn't that mean he would stay on the list until he DID get voted in? Taking up space for a nominee that might've actually deserved it? No hostility intended, but come on... Fastforward?

I do think the next cycle we will ask the community to nominate. Thats what we originally wanted to do with the Hall but not a lot of people participated. Nominations will come from you all starting Season 65.

I do think the original hall of fame founders as well as the hall of fame itself should have been consulted honestly on this one. Being one of those people, I'm honestly shocked it went this way and it kind of made me lose faith in the current process. I can say honestly if he were to win,
I would renounce my hall of fame status, that's how vile I think this is. if we don't recognize his titles, what would even qualify him anyway?? I know things are a bit slow right now and a lot of bigger players aren't as active, but we really don't need this kind of controversy to help us out.

I never saw this until today! Thank you so much for nominating me and voting for me! I'm very proud of the history of my group, taking home 10 consecutive guard championships (believe that is still the record at least for guard) and for participating in the original FMB all the way back in season 3.

I think I should be nominated to enter the Hall a second time instead of FastForward. Let's be honest. I deserve this.

Welcome to drum corps Mecca! Indianapolis is the site of this season’s FMA Hall of Fame Induction, on what is arguably the most exciting day of the year: both DCI Finals and FMA Finals day! Directors, honored members, and fans, thank you for joining me for todays ceremony. Now, let’s get down to business.

Our first inductee received support from 47% of voters. This director has rapidly climbed the all-time director level leaderboard in recent seasons, now sitting in 10th. He also has 13 FMA Finals medals, including 5 Division 1 golds. But what sets this director apart from many is the attitude he carries with him in his actions within the community. It’s a lightheartedness and playfulness that is usually would be difficult to pick up from behind a screen, but somehow...we can with him. CTrain, we are thankful for what you have contributed through FAME and with your groups. Welcome to the Hall!

Our second inductee received votes from 40% of the voters. He’s been here since the beginning, and has been active for 43 seasons (both inductees have had 43 active seasons!). With 11 FMA medals and 58 finals appearances, he’s had his fair share of success on the site. Currently, this director sits at 15th on the all-time leaderboard, and still climbing. I have had the pleasure of being league-mates with him (on many occasions), and he is always one of the greater competitors. Scooter92011, welcome to the Hall!

Congratulations to both of you on this achievement! FMA immortalization is yours.
