Season 10 kicks off with five guards vying for the top spot, here's how the season started:
1. Citrus Guard (UNSP-G) - 79.320
2. The Knight Guard (IIEA) - 77.770
3. Guard of Unspecified Identity (UNSP-G) - 77.505
4. Nobles of Grace (IIEA) - 76.730
5. Exhale (IIEA) - 75.975

The top 5 spots belong to groups in the IIEA circuit or the UNSP-G circuit. The current 6th and 7th place guards are independent ensembles without a circuit.

CITRUS GUARD
The four-time defending champion, Citrus Guard, holds a lead less than two points ahead of The Knight Guard. Citrus Guard has been a division 1 competing unit since season 1 and has qualified for finals in seven of their nine seasons.

THE KNIGHT GUARD
The Knight Guard has been looking for their first championship since their second in season 4. Since season 3, this incredible ensemble has placed in the top four every season. The only season they did not qualify for finals was in season 2, one season after their 7th place finish in division 3.

GUARD OF UNSPECIFIED IDENTITY
A three-time division 2 champion, Guard of Unspecified Identity placed 3rd in season 9, division 1 finals. Season 9 was this unit's first appearance in division 1 since season 1. They have competed in division 1 or 2 finals in every season since season 3.

NOBLES OF GRACE
Perhaps one of the most consistent guards, Nobles of Grace has placed 4th though 7th in every season in division 1. They are yet to recieve their first medal, bronze, silver, or gold. Maybe they will be able to crack the top three.

EXHALE
A six-time division 1 finalist, Exhale has had its ups and downs. The eight-season division 1 ensemble hopes to place in the top five for the first time in its history.

Its cool to see that the largest gains were early on. Now because everyone starts higher with the rank 20 staff, it doesn't grow as much.
