Attention marching bands and drumlines, both the Land of 101 Lakes Parade of Champions held on Saturday, August, 6th, and the Beat of the Mill Valley Invitational held on Tuesday, August, 2nd still have spots available.
The Land of 101 Lakes Parade of Champions ( Aug. 6th - Marching Bands ), The Jimmerson Lake Winter Fantasy ( Aug. 4th - Colorguard ), and the Beat of the Mill Valley Invitational ( Aug. 2nd - Drumline ) are all held at Nevada Mills Jr./Sr High School in at the crossroads of Northeastern Indiana's Lakes Country and Amish Country. Openings still available for Marching Bands ( 9 spots ) and Drumlines ( 4 Spots ).
The Parade of Champions will offer trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place in each division, Best Music, Best General Effect, Best Visual, Best Auxiliary, Best Percussion, Best Drum Major, Best Pit Crew, The People's Choice Award, and the Overall Grand Champion.
The Winter Fantasy will offer trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each division, Best Movement, Best Equipment, Best General Effect, The People's Choice Award, and the Overall Grand Champion.
The Beat of the Mill Valley Invite will offer trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place in each division, Best Music, Best Visual, Best General Effect, the People's Choice Award, and the Overall Grand Champion.
Also on August 10th is the first Summit City Festival of Sound hosted by the affiliated Summit City Sound Machine in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Trophies will be award for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place in each division, plus Best Muisc, Best Visual, Best General Effect, Best Auxiliary, Best Percussion, and The People's Choice Award.
