The Tier 7 option is reserved for League Championships, which I am still working out the details of. They will allow an unlimited number of groups from that particular league/group type, similar to FMA finals events.

The Recent Activity feature is turning out to be pretty cool. You'll be able to see what's been going on in your league.

So we're going to see (as of right now): -League system with leadership roles, league events, and league pages
-User directory
-League directory
-New feature to see who's online right now
-Director rating points system (taking the place of the old profile "awards")
-Ability to train staff beyond level 20 for increased cost
-Sorting options for the event Applications page
-New forum for league discussion
-Redesigned front page, various graphical changes throughout the site
-Various bug fixes and tweaks

Will you be completely removing all of the awards or will the directors ranking be in addition to those awards? I assume the ranking is based on a calculated combination of those awards?

The awards will still be there. Ranking is a numerical representation of them, but I have categorized them according to Division so you can see how you've done in each respective division. For example:
Div I Finals Gold - 5 points
Div I Finals Silver - 4 points
Div I Finals Bronze - 3 points
Div I Finalist - 5 points
Div I Semifinalist - 4 points
Div I Participant - 3 points
Div II would be those minus 1 point.
Div III would be Div I minus 2 points.
Then I also take into account your director levels and influence.
