Sapphire Vanguard presents "Chasing the Wind." It's based off of a phrase in Ecclesiastes that means to pursue the meaningless things in life.
- Symphony No. 2 In e Major: II. Allegro Risoluto, Aram Khachaturian
Here, the main character is introduced and he is seen pushing the corps away, symbolizing the pushing away of family and friends.
- Chasing the Wind, Original
The main character starts gathering up things to himself and lives the high life.
- First Symphony (in One Movement), Op. 9: Con moto - Passacaglia, Samuel Barber
The character grows old and he slowly loses all his possessions in a strong wind.
- Epitaph of Seikilos, Original (based off of 1st century composition)
The character is reconciled to his family, friends, and ultimately, God.
I'm trying to upload the tow original pieces, but Mediafire and Box don't seem to be working. I'll probably just make them youtube vids later.
